| The goals of the Scientific Sections are to provide more opportunities for members to be active in the organisation. |
At the 38th Union World Conference on Lung Health, a new scientific section was created: the HIV scientific section. This new section contains a sub-section: Nurses and Allied Professionals. To register as an active member in this new section, please tick the box on the membership form (electronic or print). Members from other Union scientific sections are welcome to join this new initiative of The Union. The HIV section officers will be elected in 2008. At this stage, there is no HIV section report. Thank you for your interest in the new HIV scientific section.
