World Days
World Tuberculosis Day, World Asthma Day, World
AIDS Day and World No Tobacco Day are events which give all of
us the opportunity to highlight the importance of continuing to
fight for very important causes
The Union is particularly involved in organising
World TB Day in very close collaboration
with the Stop TB Partnership. Written
material is sent to all our members and other interested organisations
to stimulate the organisation of their own local events.
World Days represent an
opportunity to highlight issues for government officials and the
community as a whole. These days and all related events and manifestations
are a powerful tool to advocate for better health at local, but
also at global level.
