Christmas Seals
The Union holds a Christmas Seals Contest each year at its World Conference on Lung Health.
Paid-up Constituent and Organisational members are entitled to participate
in the annual Christmas Seals contest. They should send 10 demonstration
examples of their national stamps a few weeks before the Conference
or bring them directly to the Conference already mounted. During the
Conference, the seals are on display to be viewed and admired by all the delegates.
For the 2008 contest, organisations should send 10 original examples
of their Christmas seals (not photocopies or electronic files) to The
Union Secretariat by 6 October 2008.
The seals exhibition will be open from Friday 17 – Monday 20 October.
New in 2008:
The Christmas Seals Contest will take place during the Union General Assembly. Union members only are invited to vote for their favourite Christmas Seals at this occasion. Contest winners will then be announced at the end of the General Assembly on 20 October 2008.
