Child Lung Health Project Malawi
The innovative project for integrated child lung health in Malawi, begun
in October 2000, is now in its fourth year. It is having a considerable
effect on reducing case fatality rates in children under five admitted
with severe/very severe pneumonia.
Funded by a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation,
the main goal of the Child Lung Health (CLH) Project is to improve the
survival and well being of children in Malawi.
